Small team, big impact — how a federal benefits advisor became the most-watched retirement content creator in his niche while his marketing ran itself.
CD Financial came to us as a federal benefits advisory firm with a strong track record and zero digital presence. The challenge: reach federal employees — a highly specific, compliance-sensitive audience — at scale, without sacrificing trust.
We built a full-loop content system from the ground up. At the center was the Fed Benefits Simplified video podcast: a long-form YouTube series designed to educate, rank, and convert. Every episode was scripted for compliance, filmed professionally, and then cut down into short-form clips for LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
Underneath the content, we built 35+ marketing automations in ActiveCampaign — nurture sequences, webinar funnels, appointment booking flows, and re-engagement campaigns — all designed to work without anyone watching the dashboard.
The result: a channel that has surpassed 1.5 million views on YouTube alone, books 500+ appointments, and runs largely on autopilot. Email campaigns hit a 50% open rate with a 100% click rate. 30+ automations handle the rest. Small team, big impact — the advisor doesn't need to be a marketer. The system is the marketer.

The Niche Is You
Every person who walks through our door has a gap in the market — not because they invented it, but because they are it. The niche isn't a demographic. It's the authentic expression of who you already are when you stop performing.
Charles is a federal employee retirement-planning fiduciary. He didn't come to us trying to go viral — he came because he cares, deeply and genuinely, about his clients' generational wealth being as tax-efficient and income-generating as possible for retirement and beyond.
That care is the niche. Not 'federal benefits' as a keyword — but the specific, unwavering devotion of a man who treats someone's retirement like it's his own family's. When we built the Fed Benefits Simplified podcast, we weren't manufacturing content. We were amplifying what was already true: Charles shows up, every episode, as himself.
The 1.5 million views didn't come from a hack. They came from consistency rooted in authenticity. The 500+ appointments didn't come from a funnel trick. They came from a fiduciary who genuinely cares, showing up on camera the same way he shows up in a client meeting.
We didn't make Charles into something he wasn't. We built a system around who he already was — and let the system carry the marketing so he could carry the people.
The advisor doesn't need to be a marketer. The system is the marketer. The man just needs to be himself.
AI is a tool — a vehicle that expedites the processing of our human input into the online world. It doesn't replace the human. It amplifies the human who shows up honestly. We become expansive, and life becomes more joyful and fulfilling when we are, instead of when we try to be.
In the long run, when you look back 20–30 years from now — what do you care about? Beyond profit, that is a consequence of living an authentic life. Who do you serve, how do you serve them, and why?
Let's build a content and marketing system that works as hard as you do — in compliance, on brand, and built to scale.
